It's Been Awhile...

WOW... Soooo I haven't blogged in over a year... not too surprising I guess! I'm not great at keep up with things anymore, now that I have three kiddos (I know that is not the best excuse, but I'm using it... Did I mention I'm a full-time student too?!)

So, what all has happened in the last year you ask? Well, for starters I had another baby! Grayson Preston was born on July 27th, 2009 weighing in at a hefty 7lbs 11oz (ouch!). He is quickly approaching his 1st birthday, which we will be celebrating here in Phenix City, AL with friends and our little family!

Also, Jaden received his wish from the Make-A-Wish foundation in April. We went to Orlando for 6 days, and came home EXHAUSTED. We had a blast... and Jaden truly felt like a million bucks! He got to have a Pirate Makeover on his 5th birthday at Disney... now how many kids get to spend their 5th birthday at Disney... and get to look like a Pirate?! He definitely had a blast! Jaden also completed his first year of school (Pre-K). He wad such a great time in school, and is looking forward to starting Kindergarten in the fall!

Jordyn turned 4 on April 4th... however Stephen and I believe she turned 14!! She is full of sass, and is BOSSY as ever!! Jordyn also enjoyed the trip to Disney... although the highlight for her was the Princess Makeover she received!! She chose to be Snow White... and she looked amazing! I will get around to posting pictures, but it might be another year or so before that ever happens (LOL!!)!!

Stephen and I are doing well. Stephen did get hurt at work and has been going through some tough times... he got hit in the head and is not undergoing physical therapy and occupational therapy. Even though his injury happened at work, I like to tell everyone that the injury happened at home... he made me mad and I hit him with a frying pan (hahahahaha)!! I am still in school (yes, STILL)! I recently changed schools, and now am enjoying getting an education at a Christian-based college based in Virginia (Liberty University). I recently made the Dean's List (woo hoo), and am continuing my pursuit for a degree in Elementary Education.

Well, I think that pretty much sums up our last year... I promise to work on getting pictures up soon! I have a years worth of pictures to get up on here, so it may take me a while!

Ultrasound Today

I went today for an ultrasound because last week, Jaden kicked me in the belly when he had to have his finger pricked at the Doctor's. Here are the pictures, including a 4D Picture of the baby with his arm up over his mouth. Hope you enjoy!!

Zoo

On Wednesday, we took the kids to the local zoo... they had a blast! Got to feed the some animals and play play play! Here are the pics!

Birthday Party

So, on April 4th we celebrated the kids birthdays. Jordyn turned 3 on April 4th and Jaden turned 4 on April 25th. Here are some pics from their party! Enjoy!

Fetal Echo Yesterday!!!

Well, as you all know, yesterday I went for our fetal echo. The baby's heart looked wonderful... nothing abnormal, just a perfect 4 chamber heart! Also, we found out that we will be having another... BOY!!! We are very excited! Here are some pictures of the baby, including the 4 chamber heart!

Also, we wanted to send out an "invitation" to our baby shower. It will be at my mom's house on April 11th @ 2 p.m. If you are able to make it, just let me know! I know that those of you who follow out of state will not be able to attend... just wanted to let you all know!

Fetal Echo Tomorrow

Just wanted to let you all know that we go for our Fetal Echo tomorrow. This will determine the heart health of this baby. Please pray for a healthy baby! We should also be able to get a positive on the gender! My gut still says its a boy, but either way, we don't care... as long as s/he is healthy! I will post an update tomorrow after our visit!

Strawberry Festival

Last weekend, we took the kids to the annual Strawberry Festival!! They had a BLAST!! They decided that they wanted their faces painted... here are the results!!

County Fair

Last weekend, we took the kids to a county fair here in Florida, and let me tell you... they had a blast. This is the 1st time they have been to a fair, so the idea of riding on a big ride was just overwhelming for them! Once we got there, they of course wanted to ride EVERY ride! Registed Today!

Wow... I forgot how exhausting it could be! We went and registered for the baby today at Target. We did not register for gender specific items yet, since we still don't know for sure what we are having (although I am pretty sure I know what it is)! We ended up having to register for all the basics again, because when we moved down here to Florida, we got rid of pretty much everything except some baby clothes!

I truly forgot how exhausting it was! We spent probably an hour in the baby section scanning items. I guess we will have to go back and register for boy/girl items once we know what we are having, so I will be sure to get a good nights sleep the night before!

Baby Pictures!

Today we went to have an ultrasound and were hoping to see the sex of the baby, but this child is STUBBORN. S/he laid there the entire time with knees crossed and did NOT move. The ultrasound tech kept shaking my belly and pushing on it... nothing... I hope it is not that the baby is stubborn, but instead laid back and calm... unlike his/her older siblings who run circles around us! Here are some pics! Hope you enjoy!

Our new niece

Just wanted to share our new niece with the world! She is beautiful and so tiny. She was born on January 16th, 2009 at 12:12 pm... weighing in at 6lb 5oz... so cute!

Gingerbread Man

Here are some pics of the kids with their Gingerbread men. They each got to decorate their own! Jaden was sooo proud of his "bread man"! He thought that it was the greatest thing!

Jordyn loved hers... she loved it soooo much, that before they started decorating them, she took a big chunk out of his head!!

They also enjoyed eating them! After the icing hardened, I let them eat the feet off! It was HILARIOUS and messy. Jaden kept telling us he was turning green like "the hulk". So much fun!

Baby #3

Well, here is a picture of baby #3. I am so early in the pregnancy, that it just looks like a little "blob" in there! We were able to see the flutter of the heart, so that is encouraging. We wont be able to have the level 2 ultrasound or fetal echo until I am about 18-20 weeks pregnant! So... here is a picture! The arrow is pointing to the baby!

Tomorrow is the big day

Well, tomorrow we go in to have an ultrasound to see the baby. I am really excited, but kinda nervous too. I have been praying that this baby is healthy, but ultimately, it is up to God.

I will post an update tomorrow (hopefully with an ultrasound pic) after our appointment. Please pray for good news!

Now it's Jordyn's turn

Well, last night Jordyn ran a 104.8 temp. We did the tylenol and motrin thing, which took her temp down a little, but we did not truly lower it until we gave her an ice cold bath at 3am this morning. Then, we followed with wet, cold rags on her forehead all night. She has a 12:30 Doctor's appointment today, so hopefully we can get this all taken care of.

Please say a little prayer for my Jordyn. She isn't eating or drinking much either. Thanks!

My Poor Little Jaden

Well, we have been having quite the time with Jaden lately. He hasn't been sleeping well at night and has been running a fever.

I took him to the Doctors this morning to find out that he has an ear infection AND Bronchitis. Poor thing. The Doctor started him on an antibiotic, so hopefully we can get rid of these nasty illnesses before the holidays.

Please say a little prayer for Jaden (and us) because we are all tired from the lack of sleep.
